It’s FINALLY over
Posted in Misc with tags Chris, Steve, Sydney on November 8, 2009 by ChrisAs a die hard Cyclone fan, I was becoming very nervous about what seemed to be an Iowa Hawkeye football team that was destined for greatness. You might wonder, why do I care?
The answer is simple. If Iowa were to have finished the season undefeated and played for a National Championship, as an Iowa State fan, I would not have ever lived long enough to live beyond that kind of tyranny. Every conversation with a Hawk fan for the next 100 years would end with them saying “How many National Championships do YOU have?”
What a dreadful thought.

Just a reflex?!?!?!?
Posted in Family with tags Sydney on November 3, 2009 by ChrisApparently baby’s will “smile” due to an innate “reflex” of survival. They tend to perform this feat between 3 days until 2 months of age. Go here for more info.
I will continue to believe that she actually smiled

Posted in Misc with tags Cyclones, Sydney on October 27, 2009 by ChrisBefore leaving the hospital, Sydney and I watched the beginning of the Iowa State vs. Nebraska football game. I don’t think she can see much, but she did stare at the screen!
Iowa State went on to beat Nebraska in Lincoln for the first time in my life.

Pic is from www.desmoinesregister.com….for more photos go here.
Sydney is now an undefeated 1-0 as a Cyclone fan…..
